AGUA CALIENTE CASINO CATHEDRAL CITY LAUNCHES FIRST EVER, EXCLUSIVE CHEFS TABLE SERIES
CATHEDRAL CITY, CALIF. (March 15, 2023) – Agua Caliente Casino Cathedral City, the newest property in the Agua Caliente Casinos tri-property portfolio, launches its first-ever Chefs Table series featuring Executive Chef Jonathon Wiener on Wednesday, March 29, 2023 from 6-8 p.m. The series will be hosted monthly through Wednesday, May 31, 2023.
Chefs Table is an exclusive experience for 10 ticketed guests who will enjoy a chef-curated four-course meal with wine pairings at Café One Eleven inside of Agua Caliente Casino Cathedral City. The interactive experiences allow for an education session on how the meal is cooked, tips, best practices, and the best wines to pair with the meal. Each month, a new menu and pairings will be selected.
The March 29 Chefs Table menu will include a house made focaccia with lavender, fennel pollen and sea salt butter prior to the Canape flight appetizer with gougere, beef tartare, a shrimp cocktail, oyster, caviar, and charred avocado. The main attractions are the two entrees – the halibut served with baby artichokes, green garlic and various citrus’, along with the Prime New York Steak with truffle pommes puree and served with asparagus, roasted mushrooms and a bone marrow demi. Chef Jonathon Wiener tops it off with a chocolate dome, garnished with cotton candy, strawberries and lemon curd. Various wines will be appropriately paired with each course to enhance the tasting experience.
Executive Chef Jonathon Wiener is a 16-year veteran chef with a rich background in farm-to-table concept dishes. He utilizes local ingredients to create a dining experience unique to the area. He has earned a degree from Le Cordon Blue and was recognized as an “Up and Coming Chef” in Inland Empire Magazine.
Café One Eleven is open for breakfast, lunch or dinner and offers a selection of elevated dining options. The entirety of the chef-driven menu is made-from-scratch – from the sauces to the entrees. Executive Chef Jonathon Wiener credits his childhood favorites for his unique takes on select items such as his homemade strawberry shortcake.
