Tell us about yourself & Your Role.

I have been a salon owner and hairdresser for over 40 years. I married my best friend Charlie in Hawaii and we adopted a mother and daughter bonded pair dogs at Palm Springs animal shelter. We renamed them biscuits and gravy. Bringing a little southern charm, considering Charlie is from Kentucky. Upon moving to Palm Springs four years ago, we went right into volunteering. We figured it would be a great way to meet people. We really enjoy many events, fundraisers, and anything related to the community. We enjoy all of the phenomenal restaurants and dining options of Palm Springs and the surrounding area. I also enjoy getting to know the Coachella Valley of the past and present. We enjoy regular trips to the Palm Springs cultural center. The aerial tram and bike rides through the neighborhoods, taking in all of the beautiful landscape and architecture.

What do you enjoy the most in your role at agua caliente casinos?

I am very passionate about the industry. I enjoy contributing my experience to the success of the Spa. The history of the past I find exciting and inspiring. I really enjoy the stories that are shared with me from the tribal members. Regardless of who walks through that door. We have standards that every guest experiences a Forbes experience. My most memorable experiences are the Smiles of Appreciation and thank you from every guest who leaves the spa.

Always believe in yourself. If you wanna be a star, just be who you are.
