Kicking off Father’s Day weekend is easy with the Cigar & Whiskey Celebration at Agua Caliente Casino Cathedral City. On Friday, June 16, from 6 – 9 p.m., the Agave Caliente Terazza will play host to dozens of beer, cigar and whisky vendors and will feature an upscale buffet, gift giveaways and live music by Cali Tucker from NBC’s The Voice Season 6. Bites include prime beef skewers, ricotta meatballs, heirloom tomato bruschetta, crab cakes, and the chocolate brownie bites. Agua Caliente Casinos’ two award-winning restaurants, The Steakhouse Rancho Mirage and The Steakhouse Palm Springs are both serving upscale Father’s Day pre-fixe menus on Sunday, June 18, from 5-10 p.m. At the Rancho Mirage Steakhouse, fill up on the 60-day, 32-ounce dry aged bone-in ribeye with all the fixings. For $140, it’s topped with a pink peppercorn bourbon au poivre sauce and served with maple glazed bacon Brussels sprouts, gold potato hash and crispy shoe string onions. Meanwhile at the Palm Springs Steakhouse, try the three-course pre-fixe menu for $90 that starts with a choice of lobster bisque or the baby iceberg wedge salad topped with cherry tomatoes, crispy bacon, pickled red onion, blue cheese crumbles, chives and brioche herb crumbs. The main course is the smoked 16-ounce brisket served with sautéed asparagus and Yukon gold whipped potatoes. For dessert, indulge in the coffee éclair and local berries. At Waters Café inside of Agua Caliente Casino Rancho Mirage for $50 per person, present dad with a hearty yet casual pre-fixe menu. Starting with the country bean soup featuring beans, shredded beef and vegetables, move on to the main course – the Kansas City cut steak with mojo Verde sauce, crab and cheese potato tort, and bacon-wrapped asparagus, all finished with Bearnaise sauce. Sweeten up with the carrot cake and strawberries atop vanilla ice cream for dessert. Waters Café Father’s Day specials are available all day from 11 a.m. – 10 p.m. on June 18. Café One Eleven inside of Agua Caliente Casino Cathedral City is offering a Father’s Day special on June 18. For $45, the Brunch n’ Brew includes the savory grilled rib-eye, crispy potatoes, and grilled broccolini with bone marrow butter, all served with dad’s choice of draft beer. The special is from 11 a.m. – 8 p.m. Walk-ins only.
360 Sports at all three Agua Caliente Casino properties are celebrating the sports dads with elevated sports bar bites. For $22, enjoy the A1 wagyu mushroom burger for $22 at any location. At Agua Caliente Casino Palm Springs, dads also have the choice of the New York strip sandwich for $18. All 360 Sports locations are open from 11 a.m. – 11 p.m. on Sunday, June 18.
