Agua Caliente Casino’ two marquee restaurants, The Steakhouse Rancho Mirage and The Steakhouse Palm Springs, are both serving upscale Mother’s Day dinner menus on Sunday, May 14, from 5-10 p.m. At the Rancho Mirage Steakhouse, the a la carte special starts with the compressed melon salad for $15 with mint gazpacho, burrata, mustard frill, and candied pistachios. Choose from two main entrée choices – the $42 pan seared arctic char with braised beluga lentil, heirloom beets, and fennel and tomato broth or the $44 pan seared duck breast with sautéed farro, charred ramps, heirloom carrot puree, and pickled strawberry and miso puree. For dessert, sweeten it up with the coconut panna cotta for $14. Meanwhile at the Palm Springs Steakhouse, take mom out for a four-course pre-fixe menu starting with the alfredo gnocchi sautéed with housemade alfredo sauce. Choose between the caramelized onion au gratin or the strawberry and spinach salad topped with cherry tomatoes, sliced almonds, gorgonzola, red onion, and sweet citrus vinaigrette. The entrée is the smoked Atlantic salmon served with forbidden rice, sautéed Romanesco and compound pesto butter. At Agua Caliente Casino Rancho Mirage, grab the Mamas Margarita any time in the month of May for $8, which features Santos tequila, lime juice, hibiscus syrup, and triple sec, garnished with tajin and an edible flower. The Mamas Margarita is served at any bar on the casino floor.

At Waters Café inside of Agua Caliente Casino Rancho Mirage for $48 per person, give mom a casual, yet savory three-course menu. Beginning at 4 p.m., the special begins with a choice of either the baby frisée and spinach salad tossed in a warm honey and onion vinaigrette and topped with tomato concasse, shaved sweet red onion, bacon lardon, and a soft poached egg. Or, try the chicken and gnocchi, served with brunoises vegetables, pulled chicken and bread sticks. For the second course, choose between the stuffed rainbow trout with manchego cheese and bacon-wrapped lump crab meat, served with a mango and chipotle salsa and a lemon cream risotto, or the veal chop, finished in brown butter and pan seared with spinach and white bean mousseline, glazed white asparagus, veal red jus, and Russian fingerling potatoes. Café One Eleven inside of Agua Caliente Casino Cathedral City is offering a special brunch with live entertainment, plus a dinner special on May 14 in the restaurant’s cozy, yet upscale setting. For brunch, $30 includes bottomless mimosas and a choice between the farmers market scramble with zucchini, roasted tomato, cheddar cheese, breakfast potatoes and toast, or try the short rib benedict served with breakfast potatoes. The vanilla cheesecake with seasonal fruit completes this festive menu. Violinist Raphael Batista will be serenading the venue with beautiful notes and favorite covers from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. Brunch is also served from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. For dinner, treat mom to the pan seared salmon with spring pea risotto, asparagus and a citrus butter sauce for $32. Meanwhile, 360 Sports Palm Springs will serve up the salmon burger with a side salad for $18 and $5 mimosas with mom’s choice of juice.
